This is the first in a series of Scout-oriented Wordsearch Puzzles that I have used successfully for Patrol Competitions and gap fillers.  Typically I would give the puzzle to the patrols and allot them 10 minutes to find as many words as they can... they don't get the word list.  Patrol with the most words is the winner.  I have a total of 52 puzzles of which 10 are included here.  If you like them I'll upload the rest.

  17. For best results, import the ASCII file into your word processor, set the right and left margins to .5 inch, and use a non-proportional font. [NOTE: I opened them on a Mac with Word in Courier10 and the puzzle aligned perfectly. Gen]
